Welcome to Português Catita! By booking or attending our classes, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

Português Catita offers Portuguese language classes, both in person (in Setúbal) and online. We provide individual sessions, lesson packs, group courses, and premium coaching programmes. Class formats, schedules, and prices are subject to change with prior notice.

2. Bookings and Payments

All classes must be booked in advance via email or through our official channels.
Payment is required upfront to confirm your booking.
Payments can be made securely by credit or debit card via our website.
For alternative payment methods (such as bank transfer or MB Way), please contact us directly.
Invoices or receipts are available upon request.

3. Booking and Cancellation Policy

▸ Group Courses (in person or online)

Group courses run on fixed dates and times.

These sessions cannot be rescheduled individually.
If a student misses a session, they will receive class materials and homework to follow up independently.
No refunds are issued for missed sessions.

▸ Individual Lesson Packs

Lesson packs offer flexibility and are valid for 4 months from the date of the first class.

Classes can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
Students are responsible for completing all sessions within the 4-month period; unused sessions will expire after that time.

▸ Premium Coaching Program

Premium coaching is fully personalised and includes priority scheduling.

Classes may be rescheduled at any time, depending on the teacher's availability.
We recommend giving notice as early as possible to ensure rescheduling is possible within the same week.
Unused sessions must be used within the agreed timeframe of the coaching program.

4. Intellectual Property

All teaching materials, resources, recordings, and content shared in class are the intellectual property of Português Catita.

Materials are for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or shared without prior written permission.
Recording of sessions is not permitted without explicit consent.

5. Liability

We are not responsible for any technical issues affecting online class attendance. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection and access to the platforms we use (Google Meet).

Português Catita is not liable for any accidents, injuries or losses that may occur during in-person classes or events. Students attend in-person sessions at their own risk and are expected to behave in a safe and respectful manner.

In the event of force majeure (such as natural disasters, serious illness, or government restrictions) that prevent the continuation of classes, the student will be refunded for any sessions not delivered.
